An initial two sq. mile pilot model with four trenched, million gallon pools can produce 1.3 billion gallons of fresh, sanitized water per year. The water can be stored safely underground without leaching into the concrete and can be maintained without costly, unhealthy chemicals that reduce the harvest crop size and human health. This 1.3 bil.gals. will generate a minimum of 90 tons of salt, and 92 tons of produce. This will result in the reclamation of over 1,359 acres of land per year in the most modest estimates. The reclaimed land and produce equate to about $1,500 per hectare, or around $800,000 per two square miles (550 hectares) a year.
This pilot will be at a cost of roughly $1 to $2 million dollars minimum(with the least support for the concept) yet will still outperform the best desalination systems with its over 1 billion gal p/y output. That equates to .0007 cents per gallon which is the most affordable water offered anywhere on Earth. (Keep in mind, this is akin to the highest quality, anti microbial, 7.6ph mountain spring water, converted from simple seawater evaporation and mineralized using Viktor Schaubergers patents.) In comparison, San Diego California houses America’s largest reverse osmosis, ozone filtration desalination plant and at a cost of $1 billion it produces 18.25 billion gallons of water a year, which equates to a cost of .05 cents p/g to produce and which they charge about .10 cents minimum to consume. They do not recycle the salt brine and return it to the ocean.
Therefore, if we were to hypothetically multiply our investment by 20 times to $20 or $40 million we would far exceed California’s high technology plants yearly productivity (over 25x’s)

my method uses innovative landscape design to cut costs and let nature do the work
This will allow me to create the world's first desert resilient above ground man-made river and most successful super-farm complex
From the creation of fresh water, I am now able to create a complete permaculture market chain, eliminating desertification and generating clean energy and viable soil for farmland, food crops, residential, commercial, and industrial centers. Vital products GROWN from innovative engineering with no need for mined rare earth metals at all - from the middle of any desert. 25x’s more financially efficient, environmentally sound, and productive than the worlds most sophisticated billion dollar plants - modeled from simple plant cells.

But this is not entirely accurate, as this more innovative process scales up multiplicatively and was designed to create income as the project progresses, creating a linked matrix value chain of water, salt, terraformed earth, algae and farming goods, which themselves are turned into industrial goods, which themselves are managed by an influx of locals, which themselves will generate economies as they are offered business licenses and access to said resources. The extreme architectural, engineering, and labor intensity is offset by its affordability. Locally sourced labor can be used and an infusion of pride at the lofty project will ensure completion to superior specifications. So a single completed 55 mile artificial river, solar seawater greenhouse system, while extremely labor and time intensive, has the potential to capture and store anywhere from 35 billion to 70 billion gallons of fresh water p/y at a price point of less than $100 million per node. This is a one time cost, not requiring maintenance, at one with natural weather cycles, and able to provide abundant resources, comfort, and security indefinitely. And the first node will pay for the second node, the first and second paying for the third and fourth, and so on. And forty nodes are proposed until they terminate at the Tibesti Volcanic range. In the most conservative estimate, this will produce 1.4 trillion gallons of water per year sustainably, affordably, and at balance with nature. This is how much water is consumed by the entire state of California's 40 million inhabitants, which, itself, has the highest consumption of water and yet least energy consumption in America. This is due to the lack of a winter cycle and year round sun. Assuming less than half of those energy and water requirements are necessary, we can affordably, and completely provide for every of the 60 million total Sahel residents and beyond. In fact, using ram pumps to distribute fresh water from the tanks to the greenhouses and residential districts and stepwells to cool the structures, this eliminates over 70% of expected energy requirement expenditures in perpetuity. The lack of a piping network and generator also reduces a bulk expense. And the modulation between solar panels and solar thermal molten salt heat and energy storage system using continent based suppliers almost completely eliminates all of the extraneous costs and will allow for pure profit as that same energy can be shipped internationally. Hence the lofty expectation of this concepts ability to not just regreen the entire desert, but feed, water, and lead the entire continent.
saltwater energy requirements - making desalination more efficient
For pure water, the boiling point is 100 degrees Celsius (212 Fahrenheit) at one atmosphere of pressure, and the melting point is 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit) at one atmosphere of pressure. At at high altitudes the lower pressure makes the boiling point several degrees lower. For example, in Denver, Colorado, the boiling point is about 95°C or 203°F.
For saltwater, the boiling point is raised, and the melting point is lowered. By how much depends on how much salt there is. I’ll assume the salt is sodium chloride, NaCl (table salt). The melting point is lowered by 1.85 degrees Celsius if 29.2 grams of salt are dissolved in each Kg of water (called a "0.5 molal solution" of salt. The Na and Cl dissociate right away when dissolved, and so for a 0.5 molal solution of salt, there is a 1.0 molal concentration of ions). The boiling point is raised by 0.5 degrees Celsius for water with 29.2 grams of salt dissolved in each kg of water.

Hence the more efficient engineering design and spacing of my replica "Electron transport chain" present inside of chloroplasts to more efficiently steam h20 with high salinity concentrations
